Welcome! This portion of the Short-Track Racers on the Internet site covers the open wheel speedsters called Midgets. Midgets run on both dirt and asphalt tracks in various places in the US and a few in Canada. USAC Midgets set the standard, but we include Modified Midgets (like those from NMMA) here as well.

Traditionally, the midget ranks are a stepping stone to the higher powered sprints. The Drivers & Teams pages introduce some drivers and point to the web sites of any who are on the 'net.
